Meals Hatch
Constructed utilising proprietary extrusions, all internal framing and fittings are angled and/or radius-finished for both safety, and cleanliness. The hatch door is constructed of stainless steel, with full anodised aluminium surround. Further, base frame extrusion design provides support for the open meals hatch door, minimising the likelihood of damage / breakage due to leverage. The design also allows for the elimination of butt hinges, with a pin hinge becoming integral to the hatch door configuration.
Viewing Hatch
Incorporating a glazed section, the hatch provides for a level of privacy when desired, with ready visual access as and when required. Framing and latch are as per Meals Hatch. The glazing is incorporated utilising proprietary glazing extrusion, with security fixings external to the secured environment. To manage visual access, key operated, mechanical Venetians, integral to a double-glazed panel may be preferable. (Refer Modular High Security Paneling System - Glazing datasheet)
Retrofit Capability
The design of the unit also supports retrofit to existing / other doors. The width can be varied to suit door structures delivered by others.
General Applications
The hatch construction is designed to support any access or storage requirements in high security environments. As a result, the same could be used to house hose enclosures etc in secured areas.
Hatch Locks
The locking mechanism is a CBROS Slamlock integral to the hatch frame. As a result, wear and tear is reduced, and the operational life of the lock extended, against those installed on the hatch door. (Refer CBROS Slamlock datasheet). Other locks accommodated on request.
