Diebold Physical Security Pty Ltd is a design, fabrication and manufacturing
entity with a core competency in physical security. General
engineering and on-site labour services form secondary areas of expertise.
The organisation was formed after the acquisition of Cardinal Bros
Manufacturing & Operations Pty Ltd in October 2003 by Diebold Australia Pty
Ltd, it was renamed Diebold Physical Security Pty Ltd in 2006.
Since inception, a healthy focus on research and development, has seen
product and services expand from purely general fabrication and manufacture
under licence, to encompass delivery of a proprietary modular prison cell
system, relocatable prison cells, high security locks, heavy-duty specialist
hinge, Anti-Bandit Shutter (patent pending), proprietary pass-thru units,
and the Safetell
range of bullet resistant rising security screens.
